MARVA ELLARD

Marva Ellard is a true preservationist with forty years of award-winning proof. Ellard has devoted her efforts to restoring former glory and proffering new life into numerous historic properties.

The story of her service within organizations like Historical Preservation, Inc., the Oklahoma City Historic Preservation and Landmark Commission, and Preservation Oklahoma, Inc. is filled with titles like Director, Board Member, Chairman, and Vice-President.

Her efforts have undoubtedly influenced the shaping of the city center as it stands today.

BILLY WOODRING

For the past 15 years, Billy Woodring has tended to the preservation and renovation of properties throughout OKC—pouring practice, profit, and passion into his hometown.

Woodring's early propensity toward problem-solving naturally evolved into property management, stoking the fire that would later forge Substancia, where he facilitates the needs of property owners and tenants in more than 1,200 units throughout the city.

Woodring has served on the Midtown Redevelopment Corporation Board steering committee and is currently a Western Avenue Association board member. His continued efforts are visible throughout the community and seen in numerous developments spread across the City’s historic districts.
